Tan Sri Clement Hii Chii Kok

 

Tan Sri Clement Hii, a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) graduate from the United Kingdom, has been conferred honorary doctorate degrees by the University of Sunderland, the University of Southern Queensland and his alma mater, the University of Wolverhampton.

 

He is a former senior journalist holding positions in several newspapers, including Chief Editor of Borneo’s leading English daily, “The Borneo Post”. He was the Executive Deputy Chairman of Star Media Group Berhad for two years, until end of December 2010. He is active on social media, and believes that communication and its right tools and approaches play a crucial role in any organisation.

 

Currently, he is also the Group Managing Director of SEG International Bhd (SEGi), which owns and operates one of Malaysia’s largest tertiary education providers. The SEGi Group also owns international schools, TVET training centres, and healthcare medical clinics. He also holds positions in numerous private limited companies and charitable foundations. He and his organisations place corporate social responsibility as one of their top priorities.

MR FOONG PENG YEW
Group Managing Director, Property & Projects

Mr. Foong graduated with a Honours Degree in Building Economics & Quantity Surveying from the United Kingdom in 1982. He is a registered Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors Malaysia and a Chartered Quantity Surveyor registered as a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), United Kingdom.

He has extensive experience in the property and construction sectors, having held key senior managerial positions in companies like Pilecon Engineering Bhd, Visage Group and Mayland Group. Among others, he had overseen the development and construction of the 28-storey Office Tower for Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka in Kuala Lumpur and a Fishing Port in Batu Maung, Penang. In the Mayland Group, he oversaw the development and construction of projects with a cumulative GDV of over RM1 billion.

DATUK DR. DENNIS LING PHD
Group Managing Director, Operations & Oversight

Dr Dennis Ling holds a PhD in Manufacturing Engineering and a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical and Manufacturing from the University of South Australia in 2006 and 1999 respectively. Prior to joining HCK Properties, Dr Ling has been working in various industries in Australia including semiconductor, automotive and building materials manufacturing.

He was exposed to various roles from engineering, procurement, product development, and project management. His experience in property involves composite building materials technology property procurement and property management.
